Gustav Holst, arranged by Paul Sarcich: The Planets

Morley College Festival of Arts and Culture 2018

Nearly a hundred years after the first performance of Gustav Holst's famous orchestral work, Morley piano tutors join forces in this spectacular Redux of The Planets for 4 pianos, 8 pianists and percussion in an arrangement by Paul Sarcich, Morley's composition tutor, specially commissioned for the Festival.

There will be a short pre-concert talk for ticket holders by historian and musicologist Neil Arthur Williams at 7pm.

This visually captivating performance will be enhanced by images created by Morley Digital Media students.
