| | William Halsey is a composer, organist and pianist active in the New York City area. He has written and/or arranged many chorus pieces and songs, including "Oz Yoshir Moshe" a choral setting of the Song of Miriam, and "La Tumba de Julio Jaramillo" six arrangements of songs sung by the Ecuadorean master. He runs an opera workshop that performed in bicentennial celebrations for Meyerbeer, Halevy and Donizetti. He has been the music director at St John Cantius RC Church and the director of the Spanish choir at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn.
