| anglo-breton composer mat martin (born in bath, uk, in 1980) has been involved with varied aspects of music from an early age. he holds a degree in music technology but concentrates primarily on creating acoustic instrumental and vocal music.
he is currently developing a compositional system based on theories of linguistics, folklore and ethnic traditions, drawing from a wide musical background. recent works include 'chimeres' for orchestra and string sextet, 'parting song' for three voices and harp, 'hymnus...' for four part choir and piano trio and several piano miniatures (which are avaliable on cd by contacting the composer).
