|Pianist Michelle Kim is captivating the attention of audiences throughout the United States and abroad for her unique blend of pianistic power, poetry and striking stage presence. Described as "an artist of intense passion and profound sincerity," Ms. Kim has performed solo recitals and with orchestras in South Korea, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Central America and throughout the United States, including soloist appearances with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the Brevard Music Festival Orchestra, the Livingston Symphony Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo di Catania. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Newark Symphony Hall, the Brevard Music Center Festival, the John Harms Center, the Teatro Massimo di Catania in Sicily, the Conservatory of Monteverdi in Bolzano, the Great Hall of the University of Leeds and the Sejong Cultural Center.
Recent seasons included “Sunday’s Live” series at LACMA in Los Angeles which was broadcast live on K-Mozart, performances in the Dame Myra Hess Series at the Chicago Cultural Center which was broadcast live on WFMT, the Internationals in West Palm Beach, Festival des Claviers en Poitou, France, the Mozart Festival in Ohio, the Roundtop Center for the Arts, Maine and orchestral appearances with the Staten Island Symphony, the Flagler Symphony, the NJCU Symphony and the Hamilton-Fairfield Orchestra, the Reading Symphony, the Paducah Symphony and the Lima Symphony.
Upcoming performances include Caramoor, the Ridgefield Symphony, the Brooklyn Symphony the Bergen Philharmonic, the Bangor Symphony and other recital performances in New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Chicago and West Palm Beach.
