| | Experienced conductor working in and around London UK and also in Worcestershire. Musical director of Community Choir at Alfrick, Salsa Inglesa and Mornington Sinfonia. Regular guest conductor of Wealden Sinfonia and Blackfriars Sinfonia. Has also worked as a conductor with the Chalfont Concert Wind Band, North Downs Sinfonia, the Leon Singers and various madrigal and wind groups.
Very interested in contemporary and twentieth century music, and the emotional and spiritual aspects of music-making. Quick to learn new scores, and happy to discuss new projects or to deputise for other conductors at short notice where needed.
Studied mainly with Lawrence Leonard, Paul Sarcich and Mary Mogil, but also influenced considerably by Simon Johnson, George Vass, Rodolfo Saglimbeni, Denise Ham and George Hurst.
