| | Volodja Balzalorsky is an internationally acclaimed concert violinist who has performed in international musical festivals and concert series as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. He is considered to be one of the most prominent representatives of Slovenian Artists-musicians. He is a member of Amael Piano Trio and Trio Ritratto dell'amore, artistic director of Ensemble Ouverture and Professor of Violin at Ljubljana University (Slovenia). Numerous highly praised concerts (International festivals and concert series), broadcasts, CD and TV recordings in various countries, have established his reputation as an artist with a sensitive, intelligent, and intuitive gift of interpretation, a polished technique, and a rich, full tone.
He has been a regular guest at international festivals throughout Europe, including Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, G. Britain, Croatia and Slovenia. Publishing houses of Helidon, RTV Slovenia, The Spectrum society records, Orfej records- Croatia and Bauer studio records-Germany have issued his recordings on CD,s.
Mr. Balzalorsky is particularly active in the field of chamber music last three years the most intensive as a member of Amael Piano Trio. He works with many ensembles, and for several years has successfully performed in DUO with pianists Christoph Theiler and Hinko Haas. Critics comment on the degree to which he is able to develop and maintain unity with his musical partners in this milieu, presenting
