Ollie is an accomplished musician and teacher who is both familiar and comfortable with all musical styles and genres. His performing experience ranges from Rock to Latin to Dance to Jazz. His understanding of music theory and technology has meant that he is able to compose, arrange, produce and record music. He is a professional musician who has worked all over the UK.
Ollie has been playing for many years and in September 1999, Ollie started the one year Diploma at one of the most respected and acclaimed drum and percussion schools in Europe, Drumtech. He then went on to study there for a further three years on the Degree course. Being at Drumtech allowed Ollie to gain new skills such as in theatre and show music, playing Percussion, and in Production and Marketing techniques. It was also during this time that Ollie refined his awesome sound and tasty groove playing and had the opportunity to perform with the talented Dave Steel band.
Ollie started to teach drums in January 2000 and since then some of his students have taken their Guildhall Grade exams and the results have been a demonstration of his level of success as a teacher.
Currently Ollie has started working with the ‘Burning Candle Production Company’ writing and programming with the talents of Chris Bradford and James Manders. He also appears on the album from ‘A Lease of Life’ released in 2003.
