Milena Injac was born in Nis, Serbia in 1969. She took her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Orchestra, Opera and Choir Conducting at the Belgrade University of Arts Faculty of Music and perfected her skills working with Jorma Panula, Peter Eotvos (Bartok Seminar) and Salvador Mas Conde (Vienna Master class - as one of best participants). With the Nis Chamber Symphony Orchestra, Milena Injac won First Prize on the Chamber Orchestra Competition at the Third International "Music World Festival" in Italia (Fivizzano)2000, and First Prize with the Nis Chamber Choir at the Christmas Choir Festival in Greece (Katerini), 1999. She performed as conductor in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Macedonia, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Sweden, Spain and United Kingdom. Some of the orchestras she conducted include: Belgrade Philharmonic, Belgrade Opera, RTV Belgrade Symphony Orchestra, Macedonian Philharmonic, Macedonian Opera, Sarajevo Philharmonic,Montenegro Symphony Orchestra, Nis Symphony Orchestra, Vidin, Vratza and Plovdiv Philharmonic, St.Albans Symphony Orchestra (UK), Musica Experimento (Roma-Italy),etc. Currently, she works as Associate Professor on the Faculty of Art, University of Nis, Serbia and is engaged as Music Director and Conductor of Symphony Orchestra Faculty of Art, University of Nis and Academic Chamber Orchestra SKC, Nis. Milena Injac is Vicepresident of Artistic Council, Nis International Choir Festival. She is awarded with Gold Badge - prestigious award of 20. International Choir Festival, Nis 2004, for high level of vocal-instrumental performances and world premieres. Her premiere performance of opera buffa G.B.Pergolesi "La Serva Padrona", was nominated for "top cultural event of the year in Nis,Serbia, 2008".
