BACKGROUND: Nicola Edwards was born in 1971 in Nottingham. She took a BA in Music at Reading University, an MMus in Musical Composition at King's College London, a PGCE in Secondary Teaching at Cambridge University, and has recently completed the MA in Composing for Film, TV and Theatre at Bristol University.

CLASSICAL, CHURCH, CHORAL, SOLO... Nicola sings soprano with Ex Collegio Cantabrigiensi, Wells Cathedral Chamber Choir and the English Singers. She has also sung with the Royal Academy of Music Chamber Choir, and the Choir of King's College London. She has sung for several CDs and tours abroad. Nicola's recent solos have been in: Dvorak Mass in D (in Notre Dame), Poulenc Mass in G (CD recording), Tippett Spirituals, 'Ozymandias' by John Pickard.

FILM SESSIONS, POP VOCALIST, THEATRE SINGER... Nicola has recorded vocal tracks in popular and classical styles for films and theatre. She is available for recording work in the South of England.

I studied the bassoon at postgraduate level in Frankfurt am Main, Germany under the tutorship of Matthew Wilkie (Chamber Orchestra of Europe). I currently play with two of the top London mainly amateur orchestras, the Forest Philharmonic and Kensington Chamber Orchestra.

I spent two years singing as a tenor layclerk at St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh.

Born in Sri-Lanka, Nihal won a scholarship to study voice in England, afterwhich he toured Asia and the Orient giving concerts, radio and television performances.

In Canada, as a Opera Singer, he was featured in the roles of Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles by Bizet, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly by Puccina, Arturo in I Puritani by Bellini, Des Grieux in Manon by Massenet and Pollione in Norma by Bellini.

Nihal has also been the Tenor Soloist in The Seven Last Words of Christ by Dubois and Stabat Mater by Rossini. He has also performed several solo operatic recitals in Canada and the United States.

Together with his wife, Soprano Caroleve Thompson- Fonseka, they have given four joint recitals, produced a CD called A Treasury of Christmas Jewels and recently performed at Toronto's prestigious Roy Thomson Hall.

Kathleen Garner studied at Oxford University, then won a Bodyform Careers Award to study on the ENO ‘Knack’ after which she studied opera performance at Birkbeck College. She continued postgraduate vocal studies with Wendy Eathorne and Robert Aldwinckle at Trinity College of Music. Kathleen was one of the singers on the prestigious Oxford Lieder Festival Mastercourse 2008, with Sarah Walker and Julius Drake. Kathleen has sung all over the UK with the Red Baroque chamber ensemble and with the Euphony trio, and as a soloist, in venues including the Holywell Rooms Oxford, Keble College Chapel, Oxford Playhouse, Edinburgh Playhouse, Corn Exchange Newbury, Grantham Guildhall, Waltham Abbey and Leighton House. She has also performed at the Bloomsbury, Hungerford and Hackwood Festivals. She performed with the Corkery Consort at the 2008 Inchigeela Festival in Ireland. Recent engagements also include Verdi and Mozart Requiems and recitals at St John’s Bethnal Green and Dartford Church. In 2008 she won the Opera, Oratorio and Song Recital Prizes in the Stratford & East London Festival, and together with Helen Lowe, she won the bronze medal in the North London Festival’s Premier Challenge class. Kathleen represented Trinity in the Sir Anthony Lewis Memorial Prize and AESS Patricia Routledge English Song competitions. Hailed for his "big baritone voice" (Hendersonville Times) and his "Maturity of skills and commitment to the stage" (Classical Voice of North Carolina), Mr. Goessl is finishing his Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College in Music Performance. He recently won the Sigma Alpha Iota-Pasadena Music Competition, the Thurow Vocal Competition, finalist and "People's Choice" award winner at the Long Beach Mozart Competition, and honorable mention award winner of the California Women's Chorus and NATS-LA competition. Ryan is an extremely versatile and agile performer, with credits ranging from Opera, to film and television, to Musical Theatre. Ryan has recently made his network television debut as a guest on the new hit television sitcom, How I Met Your Mother, Starring Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan. I am a qualified music teacher (piano, voice, and subject music) and hold a Masters degree in Musicology from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. I also hold a Performers Licentiate (Piano) from the Trinity College of London (LTCL).

I have 4 years' music teaching experience and have acted as vocalist, pianist, accompanist, arranger, composer and musical director since 2000. I am currently a jazz performer and musical director full time, and act as arranger and performer for various productions, ranging from Big Band and musicals, to theatre and ensembles.

Born in the family of Uttaranchal her voice has a golden hue to it and so was christened aptly as Swarnima, which literally means the one with a ‘golden aura’. This aspiring Indian classical vocalist is in the forefront in her vocation amongst the younger lot. Swarnima embarked on the journey of classical music at the tender age of nine initiated by Pandit Vasudev Deshpandey. She was further groomed by Vidushi Shubha Mudgal. Swarnima has a Master’s and M. Phil degree in Classical vocal music from the Delhi University. Her brilliance can be judged from the fact that she has been a gold medallist throughout her academic career. A recipient of National Scholarship, Swarnima has bagged several Awards, which include the Talent Hunt Award and the Maharishi Award conducted by the All India Maharishi Gandharva Ved Vishwa Vidyapeeth. Swarnima is a regular performing artiste in prestigious music festivals in India and abroad and is well received by the music aficionados. Gifted with unique voice, Swarnima’s repertoire includes the traditional khayal gayaki (style) of singing. Mena Mark Hanna was born in London, June 1984, of Coptic Egyptian parentage. He has studied privately with Matthew Greenbaum, Robert Saxton, and Salvatore Sciarrino and has attended composition courses of Milton Babbitt, Sir Harrison Birtwistle, and Helmut Lachenmann. Catherine Harper was awarded a Scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music where she studied with Heather Harper C.B.E. She graduated with it's highest honour for performance , DIP. RAM.

Catherine has recorded for radio and television. She has given 6 Lunchtime recitals for BBC. Radio Ulster and has also recorded recitals for Bavarian Radio Munich, Radio Telefeis Eirann, Radio 4 and Lyric Radio. Catherine has also recorded television for Sky and BBC2.

Catherine has worked extensively for Opera Northern Ireland. Her roles include Papagena ( Mozart's Magic Flute.) Clorinda ( Rossini's La Cenerentola.) the Owl and Hen ( Janacek's Cunning Little Vixen.). She has also worked for Opera Theatre Company Dublin covering Clarice ( Haydn's Il Mondo della Luna ), and for Buxton Festival Opera where she covered Ninetta ( Mozart's La Finta Semplice ), and Clrice ( Haydn's Il Mondo della Luna ).

Catherine performs regularly in the newly opened Waterfront concert hall in Belfast, and she is also a member of the Live Music Now programme set up by the late Yehudi Menuhin.

Emma Harper was born and brought up in Ireland but left Belfast on a choral scholarship to attend Cambridge University. Emma is now studying for a Masters in Music Performance at the RSAMD where she is taught by Patricia Hay and where she won the Academy's Margaret Dick Award for Singing.
