| Mark Wilson comes from a musical family: his violinist grandmother was one of the first women members of the Philharmonia orchestra whilst his mother played violin with the Bournemouth and BBC Scottish orchestras. Mark's father was a fine accordionist who helped foster his son's love of folk and salon music.
Mark studied at the RSAMD and the RAM under three distinguished professors: Frances Mason, Miles Baster and Maurice Hasson. On graduating from RAM, Mark co-founded the Solaris Quartet with whom he played first violin for the next eight years. Mark then accepted an invitation to become the concertmaster of the Orquestra de Camara do Estado de Mato Grosso in Brazil and went on to give several concerto appearances with the ensemble as well as featuring on the orchestra's D.V.D. releases. Mark toured extensively throughout Brazil and Bolivia during his time with the orchestra yet perhaps the most rewarding part of the experience (along with learning Portuguese) was the work he put in developing the playing of the many talented young musicians in the orchestra's home city of Cuiabá.
Mark is now back in the UK and is in high demand as a freelance player (since Mark's return to the UK in January 2008, he's freelanced with, amongst others, the RTE Concert Orchestra and the Scottish Ballet Orchestra), chamber musician and a soloist.

| Born in Bethnal Green in the East End of London, David Wright received no musical training as a child. His interest in music began after the death of his father when he was nine, through subsequent involvement in the local church. It was there he discovered the piano and organ and taught himself to play ‘by ear’, nurturing a love of the music of Bach and Mozart. At the age of sixteen he had his first piano lesson and learned to read music, later going on to study harpsichord at Trinity College of Music, where he won the Ella kidney prize for early music and graduated with honours.
David later graduated with distinction from the Royal College of Music in 2003 where for two consecutive years he won the Richard the Third and Century Fund Prizes. In 2003 he also won first prize in the prestigious Broadwood Harpsichord Competition, an international event held at London’s Fenton House where he became artist in residence. As a soloist and accompanist David works regularly with some of the world’s leading ensembles and musicians. He has directed concerts from the harpsichord including the first modern performance of Thomas Arne’s ballad opera ‘The Blind Beggar of Bethnal Green’. David is engaged regularly amongst the artists at Dartington International Summer School and as repetitieur with the English Touring Opera and The English Bach Festival. David’s radio and television broadcasts include performances as a finalist in the York Early Music Competition and solos at the Handel House Museum London (both for BBC Radio3) and more recently a recital as part of the Belfast Music Festival, broadcast on BBC Northern Ireland. Just recently, David was assistant musical director to Jean-Claude Malgoire in a production of Rameau’s Platee at the Megaron in Athens with the English Bach Festival, with whom he will be performing Monteverdi’s l’Orfeo in the New Year.
During 2006, much of David’s time has been devoted to The Goldberg Variations which he has performed extensively though out the UK and abroad. He is planning to record them in 2007. Future live performances include: Chelsea Arts Festival on the 11th of March 07, St Martin-in-the-Fields on the 1st of May 07, Dartington International Summer School in July-August 07 and Handel House Museum on the 23rd of August 07.

| The Washington Post has called Mr. Wright “a major pianist” and his work “a gorgeous display of effortlessly flowing melody, rhapsodic bravura and electrifying passagework….freshly conceived and spontaneous.”
Mr. Wright gained international attention when he won the 24th Frinna Awerbuch International Piano Competition in New York City, which led to his debut at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall. His international reputation was further enhanced when he was eliminated from the finals of the 2000 Sydney International Piano Competition of Australia.
The decision of the jury precipitated mass protests from listeners who followed the competition via national radio broadcast and worldwide web cast. In response to this unprecedented outpouring of support, the ABC, the competition's principal sponsor, marketed a debut recording of Wright's performances at the competition. His recording of Between Five Bells from this CD earned composer Peter Sculthorpe the Australian Performing Rights Association's (APRA) Award for the Most Performed Contemporary Classical Composition of 2001. From Australia, he returned to North America where he was a finalist at the 3rd Esther Honens International Piano Competition in Canada and the Audience Favorite at the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Fort Worth. Most recently, he won the gold medal at the San Antonio International Piano Competition and the awards for Best Performance of the Commissioned Piece and Best Performance of a Romantic Work.
Mr. Wright has been performing to the acclaim of audiences worldwide since his debut with the Houston Symphony at the age of eighteen. Recent performances include recitals in Charleston (SC), Chicago, Cincinnati, Houston, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio and San Diego. His performances have been broadcast on ABC Australia, CBC Radio Canada, 105.1 K-Mozart in Los Angeles, WFMT-FM Chicago, WQXR in New York City, and on David Dubal's celebrated series Reflections from the Keyboard. A versatile performer, Wright savors the opportunity to play with chamber groups and ensembles and collaborates frequently with Camerata San Antonio, a group comprised of outstanding string players from the San Antonio Symphony. He has also toured in the United States and Germany with Hudson Shad, the celebrated Comedian Harmonists
