Composers Concordance

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 7 PM at NUBLU, Composers Concordance presents *The Fiddlers*, featuring violinists Daisy Castro, Jason Hwang, Dave Soldier, and Mazz Swift, backed by Gene Pritsker (guitar), Laurence Goldman (bass), and Damien Bassman (drums).

The program includes premieres of *Witness* (Pritsker), *Blurred* (Bogojevic), and *Callisto* (Castro), plus works by Cooper, Goldman, Hwang, Soldier, and Swift. Part of the *Timbre Tantrum* series, the event also features the Eoin O’Mara Group.

Castro blends Jazz Manouche with global influences. Hwang’s work reflects his cultural heritage and has earned international acclaim. Soldier, a multi-genre artist, co-founded the Thai Elephant Orchestra and has collaborated with icons like Bo Diddley. Swift, a Juilliard-trained violinist, infuses improvisation and African American musical traditions into their compositions.

The concert will be live-streamed on Composers Concordance’s Facebook page.
