Performances of popular baroque music by candlelight, in full 18th century costume and on period instruments.

The 18th Century Concert Orchestra present a visual and aural re-enctment of the 18th century. The costumes have been specially tailored for the orchestra from original 18th century patterns, while all the players use instruments and performance techniques as they would have been in the period.

Popular pieces include Handel 'Arrival of the Queen of Sheba' Bach's 'Air' and Pachelbels 'Canon'. The Aberdeen City Youth Wind Quintet is a young ensemble which was formed a year ago by a group of young musicians aged between 14 and 18 who attended the Aberdeen Music Centre.

Since its formation, it has went from strength to strength. Under the leadership of young Conductor/Director Alan Duguid, the group has captured various awards and competition titles, most recently attaining first place with an outstanding qualification in the Aberdeen Music Festival Open Wind Ensembles Category, competing against top ensembles from all over Scotland.

Being a conducted wind quintet with members all preparing to study music at conservetoires throughout the U.K. , the quintet has many challanging works in its repetoire alongside entertaining ones. It has had many performances at both small functions and Formal concerts, most recently, at the RSNO concert in Aberdeen. The group are entirley pupil run and are keen to perform. Having such a large repetoire and performance experience, the quintet are available for a variety of different events!

Acoustic Jass are a 4 piece jazz band and play a mixture of well known jazz, blues, ballads & popular tunes, of the early 20th century.

Acoustic Jass use Trumpet, Clarinet, Banjo & Sousaphone, which is a compact combination and makes us versatile, as we are not dependent on electricity, although, we can use amplification for vocals and when the environment demands it.

Acoustic Jass can play while strolling around a country fayre, play background music for receptions & garden parties or play foot tapping music for dancing.

The Award Winning AD Concert Band was formed in 1975 by the Late Arthur Doyle the on his retirement from the CBSO. It has now developed into the Premier Civilian Wind Band in the West Midlands

Conducted By Dr Trevor Farren the Band has been awarded Gold and Silver awards at the regional NCBF and a Bronze at the National Finals.

We are currently looking to recruit particularly French Horns and Tubas, but all wind instrumentalists are most welcome. The Band has a full high class Concert program.

Josh Aerie is an experienced instructor, chamber musician, and performer. He received his Master of Music degree in Cello Performance from the University of Colorado in 2002, and completed his undergraduate work at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Oberlin College, where he received both a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Anthropology.

Mr. Aerie was the cellist of the Nacht String Quartet, the University of Colorado's Graduate Quartet from 2000 to 2002. Mentored by the Grammy-winning Takacs Quartet, the Nacht won both first prize and the audience choice award in the Bruce Ekstrand Memorial Competition in December 2001. They were then invited to be the inaugural quartet in an exchange and residency program with the Hans Eisler Conservatory in Berlin. Subsequently, the Quartet spent 8 weeks in Germany, performing in Berlin, Lichterfelde, and Bielefeld.

At the University of Colorado, Mr. Aerie was Principal Cellist of the CU Symphony and Opera Orchestras. He was a frequent guest on many student and faculty recitals, both with the Nacht Quartet and as a soloist. At the Oberlin Conservatory, Mr. Aerie was Principal of the Contemporary Music Ensemble, and Assistant Principal of the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra and Oberlin Opera Orchestra. Mr. Aerie is currently on the cello faculty at the College of St. Scholastica, and freelances in the Duluth, MN area. In the summer of 2004 he moved to Northern Virginia from Los Angeles where he was a successful freelancer and teacher. While in Southern California he was a regular cellist in many orchestras, including the Riverside Philharmonic, the San Bernardino Symphony, the Los Angeles Debut Orchestra, and the Golden State Pops. While in the Washington, D.C. area Mr. Aerie performed with the National Philharmonic, Maryland Symphony, Baltimore Concert Artists, Fairfax Symphony, Roanoke Symphony, Alexandria Symphony, and the National Cathedral Orchestra. Additionally, he performed for various dignitaries, including Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Veterans' Affairs Anthony Principi, foreign ambassadors, and members of congress at such venues as the Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall, the Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian museums.

Mr. Aerie enjoys teaching and maintains an active studio. Instructing cellists of all ages and abilities, his students have distinguished themselves in state and regional competitions and orchestras, and in school and scholarship auditions. Mr. Aerie has conducted master classes and coached various ensembles, and he is sought after as a judge for competitions and auditions. While at Oberlin, he was Instructor of Cello in both the Conservatory's String Preparatory Program and the Secondary Lesson Program. He also coached and conducted for the Washington D.C. Youth Orchestra Program, the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Capital Cello Circle. Breaking out of the 'classical mold', Mr. Aerie has played electric cello for various bands, ensembles, and solo artists. He has written string arrangements for recordings, played for film, television, and audio sessions, and performed at some of the most renowned clubs in L.A., Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Laguna Beach. Mr. Aerie can be heard on two recordings for the Vitamin Records label, the Frozen Food Section Records, and United Artists Publishing.

Dr. Varsha Agrawal is the one and only female artiste from India who has received international recognition for her brilliant performance on Santoor. Santoor is rare musical instruments of Kashmir and to find a female artist playing on this is rarest. Dr. Varsha Agrawal is a dedicated Santoor player who displays remarkable genius. It is really a great pleasure listening to her performance. Her audience is always spellbound when she reaches the zenith of expression during her performance. Jhalawar is the place where the childhood memories of great Sitar player, Bharat Ratna Pt. Ravi Shankar have been fondly cherished. Dr. Varsha, grand daughter of renowned Physician of Rajasthan Dr. Kalyanmal Agrawal, belongs to Jhalawar. Dr. Varsha is an emerging Santoor Player. She is one of the most brilliant young artists of Santoor. She has polished her art by strenuous training and ‘Riyaz’ and has won appreciation from audience all over the country. I am a blind musician who plays keyboards, does master sequencing and operates a recording/production studio from my home. I also teach vocal lessons using the Seth Riggs method

I attended Law School, but knew that it was not what I wanted. I graduated from high school when I 13 and left home to make something of my life. I do some live performances and have traveled worldwide.

It is my goal to build a successful business with my recording abilities. Through computer technology, I am able to work with people requiring music services from all over the country.
